Welcome. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you’re here.
Many people come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. Often, they are used to holding everything together on the outside while internally feeling anxious, depleted, lonely, or unsure of how much longer they can keep functioning this way.
You may find yourself constantly overthinking, struggling with self-doubt, feeling emotionally reactive, disconnected in relationships, or carrying the weight of past experiences that still affect you today. Others come to therapy during periods of transition — navigating motherhood, relationship challenges, grief, burnout, identity shifts, or the invisible emotional load that comes with trying to care for everyone else while losing touch with yourself.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing individual therapy and couples counseling for adults throughout Fairfield County and via secure telehealth across Connecticut. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, blending evidence-based therapy with genuine human connection. Clients often describe me as calming, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, deeply understood, and never judged.
Therapy with me is not about simply “getting through the week.” Together, we work to better understand the deeper patterns contributing to emotional distress while building practical tools for coping, emotional resilience, healthier relationships, confidence, and lasting change. I help clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move through life with greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion.
I also specialize in relationship therapy, helping partners improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, rebuild trust, and navigate conflict in healthier, more productive ways. My goal is to help couples feel more understood, connected, and supported within their relationship.
In addition, I have a special interest in supporting women and parents through infertility, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional transition into parenthood. Many parents enter this season expecting joy, only to find themselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious, isolated, or unlike themselves. Therapy can provide a supportive space to process these experiences and feel less alone.
At Fairfield County Psychotherapy, I strive to provide a calm, compassionate environment where clients feel supported, empowered, and understood as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.
